1999 Accomplishments
Lessons
Youth from diverse backgrounds and varied skill levels participated in Jam On It Basketball Academy programs. The programs consisted of Lessons, Camps, Traveling Teams and Host Tournaments. The Academy as developed a solid reputation in the community and around the country for its development of youth basketball. The Academy is composed of 75% females and 25% males. Jam On It Basketball Academy expanded to under served
communities. The Academy runs programs in Northeast, Southeast, and Sun Valley areas.
Camps and Clinics
This past summer, the Academy hosted Four Camps at different locations:

Special Notes about the camps:
Out of the 495 registered for camp:
| 310 received some type of financial assistance | 320 girls registered |
| 175 were minority youth | 85 came from out of town |
| 260 never attended any camps before | 90% participated every day |
The staff consisted of 65 volunteers, which 25 played college basketball and 4
have played professionally.
The revenue produced from the camps, supplemented the traveling teams financial.
Traveling Teams
Girls and Boys, ages 10 - 18, participated in tournaments across the country.

Host Tournaments
The Academy has hosted a tournament once a month. In April, 106 teams participated in the Spring Jam.
Of those 106 teams, 85 were from California.
